Marie-Christine Fortin is from Quebec City. She obtained her civil law degree (L.L.B.) from Laval University in 2010. She is presently completing the National Program (common law) at the University of Ottawa, in order to obtain her Juris Doctor (J.D.)
During her studies at Laval University, Ms. Fortin distinguished herself by getting involved in several committees and student associations. In recognition of her outstanding leadership and involvement, Ms. Fortin received numerous awards; notably the “Grand Maillet,” the highest award in the Faculty for her consistent implication and contribution to student life throughout the entirety of her studies at Laval University.
Ms. Fortin is also a musician in the naval reserve. Member of the Canadian Forces since 2003, she has integrated her passion for music to her learning of military skills and operations. |
